So this week makes it officially one year I've been with Weight Watchers...(and it's my birthday!)
My old weigh-in pants.
My new weigh-in pants. (Size 11!!)
I can't say I'm at the weight yet that I wanted to be or thought I'd be at by this point. But I have lost a total of 26.8 lbs. so far, and kept it off. I'm also down from a size 16 to a size 11. That's all without exercise, just following the points routine. Now I'm not saying people shouldn't exercise just that personally, because of various health reasons, I am unable to. If I had been able to I am quite sure that I would have lost a lot more than I have so far.
I've also made quite a few new friends. I was unsure about going at first. I'm nervous in public and uncomfortable around new people. But the meeting I found is amazing and has the best people in it. The leader of the meeting, Debbie, is super nice and incredibly encouraging. The other two women that run the scales are also really sweet and friendly too. I have to say that if it wasn't for the meetings and the people I met there, I might have given up by now. Instead I am determined to get to my goal weight and become a lifetime member. If you are considering Weight Watchers, I definitely recommend finding a meeting that you enjoy and attending it regularly. It definitely helps when you are having trouble losing or sticking with the program.
I lost .8 lbs this week. I bought a new weigh in outfit. Yes, that is a crown, it is my birthday after all!
