C is for Cosmophobia by George Saoulidis #atozchallenge

Who is watching the stars, every second of every day, so we can better understand the universe?

My Review:

So I found out about this short story thanks to being an email subscriber to Mythography. This was one of the titles featured in their newsletter and happened to catch my eye while I was looking for a book for the letter C.

I was drawn into Cosmophobia. The first line: "The way we picture Atlas is wrong." brought to mind the classic myth. Made me wonder where the author was going to take the story. The majority is told from the 1st person pov. I could feel the mc pain as they told their story. The ending.... Wow. I mean I wasn't sure what to expect, but I hadn't really expected THAT. The story is short so I reread it. Maybe I missed something that would have hinted at what was to come? Nope. Not from what I could see. But man it was good. It easily could just be a stand alone. At the same time it could be an               AH-MAZING first chapter. I really hope it is the latter. I want to find out what happens to the mc. I won't go into detail because I don't want to spoil the ending.

I highly recommend picking up Cosmophobia. It's currently free on for Kindle on Amazon. Again it's really short. But you don't realize how short while you're reading it and while it leaves you wanting more it's definitely in a good way. I hope to pick up more from the author as soon as I'm done with this years challenge.
